Photographic Collection
This week you are finishing up your
thematic photographic collection assignment. The final assignment
requires you to consider some key questions so we will use this weeks
discussion to help prepare those answers. Please offer up a response to
each of the questions below.
Remember you can leverage these answers in your final assignment so apply critical thinking.

- Did you encounter any obstacles and how did you get around them?
in my theme i kept similar angles to different building with different lighting. i tested different settings such as panoramic vs. manuel. i am currently at a astage where i am sorting between the two that would bring more life to the theme itself without seeming too cliche.
ReplyDeletemy images are all within my theme that I chose. I took many shots from many different angles and tried my best to show my theme through the images and also had a great time doing it. some of the obstacles I encounter during shooting were large groups of people standing in the my shot since it was a nice day outside, it causes many people to venture out and see the many different animals at the shed aquarium. they way I got around them was with patience, since I waited till the left so I can shot the image I wanted to capture and also by heading to areas that were not very crowded was the way I alleviated the obstacles in my journey. I am currently scanning my images to select the best ones to submit that convey the theme I chose to represent which is marine life.
ReplyDeleteI have not been able to take any shots for my assignment as of this post. My main obstacle is not having a working digital camera at my disposal. I will look for the battery charger for my Kodak EasyShare M550 12 Megapixel camera tonight, but if unsuccessful I will need to borrow the school's Nikon camera to be able to finish the assignment.
ReplyDeleteThough I have planned out all the locations for pictures my obstacle is not having the camera. I am confident though that I can get all the pictures done before the due date as I plan on taking the camera this weekend.

ReplyDeleteI chose to capture some of the "eyesores" of my neighborhood. using different angles . But in a walk on by kinda of way . Exposing the abandoned properties and those subject to be torn down with red "X". .which symbolizes to criminals "go ahead". . The city is well aware . Its a true crime , because nothing has been done.
